Since 2006 the Cody Dieruf Foundation has been privileged to bring emotional and financial assistance to those living with cystic fibrosis (CF) in Montana.
Thank you for partnering with us!
There’s still a lot of work to do, but with your financial support, we will continue to help ease the burdens of daily life with CF. While we hope for a cure, CF remains a progressive terminal illness that involves numerous medications, clinic visits, and hospital stays.
This year we were able to help Laura with necessary CF related travel expenses. She wrote:
“When I walk through the doors at National Jewish Health, I feel grateful. National Jewish is the home of the largest adult cystic fibrosis center in the US, providing specialized health care for adults with CF. In Denver, at the clinic or the hospital, I receive exceptional care from a team of dedicated doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, and others. Yet, it takes a lot to get there. Driving or flying to Denver for appointments every 3 months is time-consuming and costly, often including airfare, gas, car rental, and lodging. Expenses for a 3+ hour clinic appointment add up: doctor and clinic fees, labs, prescriptions, CT scans, and other tests. Financial support from the foundation eases the stress of the ongoing costs of living with CF. This has been an exceptional year; I’ve been to Denver 7 times and hospitalized for more than 8 weeks. The Cody Dieruf Foundation has been with me all the way, thank goodness! Pam or Ginny will reach out to me, asking “How are you doing?” “What do you need?” or “Please send us your bills.” I am fortunate to have the Cody Dieruf Foundation on my team. Thank you for supporting the foundation and Montanans living with CF. Your help makes a difference.”
Will you GIVE HOPE to someone living with cystic fibrosis this winter? A gift of any amount will help someone with cystic fibrosis breathe!
